Selling clothing on Roblox is one of the most popular ways of making Robux. The Roblox catalog is full of shirts, t-shirts & pants created by thousands of different players, from Christmas Jumpers to random words on a black shirt. But, it isn’t just as simple as selling clothing, you first have to make the clothing itself. To create clothing on Roblox you first need image editing software, there are paid and free ones, most notably Paint.NET as a free choice & Photoshop as a paid choice, make sure you have some software that can be used for photo editing. These are the steps on how to create shirts/t-shirts/pants on Roblox.
Step 1 – Download the Template
When creating clothing you must use one of Roblox’s templates, for the simplicity of this tutorial, we’ll be making classic clothing. You can download this template from here, you’ll need to choose to either make a pair of pants or a shirt. You can download these templates by right-clicking the image, and clicking save as, then saving it to your computer.
Step 2 – Create The Clothing
Once you’ve downloaded the template to your computer, you can then open it in your photo editing software & start creating your shirt. For the simplicity of this tutorial, we’ll just be making a black shirt. The first thing you need to do is use the selection tool to highlight all of the pixels you want to change the colour of.
Once you’ve highlighted what you want to change the colour of, we can now use the paint bucket to change the colour, click on the paint bucket tool, choose a colour on the colour wheel and click inside the selection to use the paint bucket.
As you can see, I’ve just painted over the entire template just to make it easier, you can be more precise if you’d like.
Now we’ve made our image, just save it as a .png file, then you can close your photo editing software.
Step 3 – Upload The Clothing
We can now upload the clothing to Roblox, you can do that by going to roblox.com/develop and choosing either “Shirt” or “Pants”, then upload the image, give it a name, and hit upload!
Step 4 – Sell The Clothing
Now you’ve uploaded your clothing, it’s time to put it on sale. To do that just click on your newly uploaded icon, it should have appeared in the list underneath the upload button. Once your on your clothing’s page, click the three dots icon and then click configure.
We can now put the item on sale. To do that, toggle on “On Sale”, set a price for your clothing (there will be a 30% cut taken from each item sale by Roblox), then click “Save Changes”.
