Disclaimer: Before we start, I should make this point. This tutorial will teach you how to earn Robux on Roblox, this isn’t a way to get Robux for doing nothing, some work is required.
Best Ways to Earn Robux
There are many ways to earn Robux on Roblox, but which is the best? Well, first off, let’s go through all the different methods that can be used to earn Robux.

- Recieving Donations from “PLS DONATE”
These aren’t the only ways of earning Robux on Roblox, but they’re the main and most popular methods in current use, and I’ll be explaining exactly how you can do each of them. These are the best ways to earn Robux in 2023.
1 – Creating & Selling Clothing
Creating & Selling clothing on Roblox is a very popular method for making a lot of Robux on Roblox. Top creators are earning millions of Robux with hundreds of shirts, pants & t-shirts live on the catalog. You can read about how to create your very own clothing here. Unfortuantely, Roblox has recently made a change so that you must spent 10 Robux to upload a piece of clothing to Roblox. However, on the plus side, this means that you no longer have to subscribe to Roblox Premium to upload clothing, saving you $5/month. But is making clothing really a good idea? If we look on the negative side, there are thousands of pieces of stolen clothing on the catalog making more money than the original copy, making it seem a little pointless even trying to make unique clothing. Although, some succeed, there are some very large groups on Roblox selling clothing with loyal customers that actually enjoy wearing their clothing. Although it is hard to grow a clothing group on Roblox, it can pay off.
2 – Creating UGC Items
In 2019, Roblox added a new UGC Catalog, later releasing to the public for people to apply to become a UGC creator. The UGC program allows users to create their own accessories for the Roblox avatar that they can then put on sale to sell on the catalog. This can earn people a very large amount of Robux, depending on the popularity of their items, this is because there is less competition with creating UGC items compared to the Classic Roblox Clothing, as anyone can create clothing. It is also great as creators can make much more as they are 3D models rather than 2D images. Unfortunately however, it is much harder to create UGC items as you need to apply for the program itself which requires experience with 3D modelling and previous examples of work. 3 – Making Games
Making games on Roblox is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ways people make money on Roblox. That’s pretty much the entire reason people are on Roblox, right? Roblox would be pretty boring without games, it’s a constant battle of developers to keep their games at the top. They have reason to care, the more players, the more money earned. Top developers on Roblox are earning millions per year. Take Coeptus, the owner of “Welcome to Bloxburg” for example, currently the game has a consistent player count of around 50,000 with 6.9 Billion visits, that means, there are 50,000 different people playing right now, and the game’s been played 6.9 BILLION different times. From those numbers along it’s quite easy to understand how developers earn so much money. When developers sell items in their games, they earn Robux, but Robux isn’t real money. That’s where the “Developer Exchange” program comes in, also known as DevEx, the program allows Roblox Developers to exchange their “earned Robux” for real life money. The current rate is USD$175 for 50,000 Robux. As I stated earlier, developers can only exchange “earned Robux”. As stated in the Developer Exchange Terms of Use, earned Robux is Robux earned from virtual items (clothing/UGC) & virtual experiences (games). That means that if you get Robux from selling a “Limited” (tradable) item for example, that does not count towards earned Robux.

4 – Playing “PLS DONATE”
“PLS DONATE” is a new-ish Roblox game created by “haz3mn”. The idea of the game is you join, claim a stand (similar to a lemonade stand), and people buy your on-sale gamepasses & items of clothing. It’s a relatively simple game idea, but there’s plenty of features people love to mess around with. For example, when somebody donates 100,000 Robux to someone else, there is a nuke that drops in all servers displaying the donation. It’s also become a platform for a large amount of YouTubers, gaining thousands of subscribers from live streams where they give away Robux to their fans.
